Zombie...nation

We've all heard the stories, read the books, watched the movies, hear the tales...The living dead, a.k.a. zombies. I know that it is just science fiction (hopefully!) but we must be prepared if anything like that happens!

Did you know that there are several guides online about how to survive in such an event? Tips, safe places, preferred weapons, tactics, etc. It is quite funny but interesting too. For example, in a case of a zombie attack, you shouldn't: keep the lights on (in order to stay stealth), make any noise (I suppose they have superhearing or so), keep at all time wide and close range weapons (like a crossbow and a bat) and for god's sake stay away from malls! Even the stupidest zombie will eventually realize that this is the best place to have a meal.

The next thing I want to discuss is speed. Why do they make zombies run in some movies? It is not normal to be chased by a half-dead creature that is running faster than you! On the other hand, original zombies just crawl around and by the time they see you, you can easily turn your back at them and start walking away...

Last but not least, I must say that the best movies about zombies are: Dawn of the dead, Land of the dead, Resident evil 1-4.

  2. Some are classic zombies - the ones who crawl around. They do not "die" except you "kill" them.
And some (like in "28 days later") are infected persons with f.e. the rage virus. You can kill them or they starve ´cause they are normal humans, just ill.

In fact, I don´t think it´s unlikely that an infection like the "rage virus" wipes out humanity.Look at HIV, for example...And no one knows what scientists and biologists do in their laboratories!
